On Presidential Poll 2022

The battle lines for the Presidential poll 2022 are now clearly drawn. With the support of its NDA allies, BJP has fielded former BJP Odisha MLA and minister and Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu as the NDA camp's Presidential nominee. Most of India's opposition parties have chosen veteran leader Yashwant Sinha as the Presidential candidate of the combined opposition camp. CPI(ML) has extended support to the opposition decision and its MLAs in Bihar and Jharkhand will vote for the opposition nominee.

Delhi Citizens March for Peace: Demand immediate stoppage of war on Ukraine and safe return of Indian students!

CPIML Liberation, All India Students Association along with concerned citizens and various progressive organizations of Delhi joined Peace March at Mandi House on 26th February. Protesters gathered at Mandi House, New Delhi and raised slogans against the military aggression by Russia and the US-NATO expansion in Europe. The protesters called upon the Indian government to immediately ensure the safe evacuation of all Indian citizens trapped in the crisis areas.

Protest The Sexual Assault By Delhi Police On Women Students During the Protest at Home Minister Shah's House

The CPIML condemns in the strongest terms the brazen sexual assault by Delhi Police personnel against women student activists on 10 October. The students were protesting outside Home Minister Amit Shah's official residence demanding that Union minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra Teni, accused in an FIR of conspiring to murder protesting farmers, be sacked from his post. Women personnel of the Delhi police lifted the clothes off two women students - AISA activists Shreya K and Neha Tiwari - and kicked them repeatedly in the private parts.
