6 Left parties – the CPI, CPI(M), CPI(ML) Liberation, RSP, Forward Bloc and RCPI have formed a united Left platform.

The CPI(ML) Liberation and the Communist Party of Revolutionary Marxists (CPRM) are in an alliance, with the CPI(ML) contesting 35 seats and the CPRM three. In addition the CPI(ML) Liberation also has a broad understanding with the SUCI, with mutual friendly contests on just a few seats. On seats where none of these parties has fielded candidates, the CPI(ML) has called upon voters to reject the BJP, TMC and Congress.
